Timelines: When to order

12-18 months before

Save the dates

Ensure your loved ones mark their calendars in advance, especially if it’s on a public holiday, a destination wedding or during holiday season. If accommodation is likely to be booked out, or flights need to be booked, keep this in mind!

5-6 months before

Invitations

Place your order 5-6 months ahead of your wedding to hand your invitations out 4 months before. We will need time for artwork approval and print production time. Specialty print methods like letterpress and foil add 5-10 business days.

2-3 months before

On-the-day items + signage

We understand the seating plan is an ever-moving-beast, but let’s get your creative concepts underway a few months prior to your event. We can lock in the designs for your suite first, and make final tweaks before sending to production. Your stationery will need to be ordered at least 4 weeks out.

The Ordering Process

1. Book

Send an enquiry, and we will work together to create your vision. Provide any known details: event date, names, wording, colours, shapes, theme and inspiration.

I’ll provide options and quotes. Once you’ve secured your spot with a deposit, I’ll design your first draft and email you a proof to review.

2. Design

Review your design proof carefully, from layout to details. I’m positive you’ll love it first time around, but rest assured, you can ask for as many changes as you like. Each round of revisions adds 2 days to the timeline.

Once you’ve sent your approval I’ll make the file/s print ready and send your order to print.

3. Production

Our print partners often get started on your order right away, so once your order is sent to print, there’s no going back!

Production times can vary depending on your order. Digital printing typically takes 1 week. Please allow extra time for letterpress, embossing, foil, and fabric signage (2-3 weeks).

4. Shipping

Every order is quality checked, then packed and sent to you. Shipping can take up to 2 weeks. We only use reliable posties that won’t damage your order. If you need a rush order, let me know before ordering.

Once you’ve received your invitations and sent them to your friends and family, it’s time to start prepping your on-the-day items!

Choose your quantity

Invitations are often one per household, but include a few extras for additional guests, keepsakes and your photographers styled details shot on the day.

Choose your print methods

We combine contemporary design with stunning, high-quality print methods to create a completely unique stationery suite just for you.
We partner with some of Australia’s best in the industry to print your stationery to ensure it reflects the quality we desire.

Digital print

Production time:
3 business days from approval + shipping

Digital printing or flat ink printing is a high-quality print available on any cardstock in full colour, black or white. White ink is best printed on dark colours for contrast.

This is the best option for personalisation of guest names, quicker turnaround times and is the most economical option.

Letterpress + embossing

Production time:
10 business days from approval + shipping

These print methods press a plate into paper to transfer your design, in the form of a deep impression. This can be done with or without ink. These luxurious print methods require a metal plate to be made so take a little longer.

Letterpress is pressed from the front of the card, so has an ‘indent’ look, while embossing is pressed from the back, creating a raised effect.

Foil press

Production time:
10 business days from approval + shipping

In a similar process to letterpress, your design is transferred to the paper with a stamp of hot foil that will sparkle in the light. This luxurious print method requires a metal plate to be made so takes a little longer. Commonly created in gold, rose gold or silver.

Personalisation of guest names isn’t available in foiling, letterpress or embossing.

Choose a colour palette

Below are some of the most-loved colour combinations we see couples incorporating throughout their wedding styling — from stationery to florals, fashion, and beyond. Think of them as a starting point for inspiration. Your palette can be entirely unique to you, and we’re here to bring your vision to life, whatever the tones may be.

Choose your colours

The following is only a selection of Card & Envelope colours available, to view every colour, please see the Colours page.

Choose your shapes

If you’re after something a little different to the traditional rectangle or square, this might be for you.

We can create your wedding stationery in a range of fun, unique shapes. Below are the most popular shapes, but we can create custom shapes in almost any shape or size you would like.

Shapes other than rectangle add an extra day to the production time, on top of any other extra finishes you’ve picked, so keep this in mind.

Die-cut shapes

Signature shape combinations

We can create any shape you like! Check out our popular shape combinations. If you order multiple cards, i.e an Invitation, a Details card and an RSVP card, we can mix and match colours and shapes for a truly bespoke look.

Add your names or a personalised message to the front card, and a belly band or paper clips to hold it all together.

Our materials

Our paper

Our paper is natural, plant-based, touchy-feely and perfectly imperfect. Made from wood, cotton, grasses, and other fibres, each batch may have subtle variations in colour, texture, thickness, and tiny flecks (unless you’re an expert you’d never notice!).

Our premium paper is sourced from mills in Japan, Italy, Germany, Korea, India and USA.

GSM refers to the weight of the paper. Photocopy paper is usually 80gsm. 100–170gsm is used for letters and envelopes, 250–350gsm for invitations and details cards. Thicker paper gives deeper impressions with letterpress, so often we opt for 350-600gsm.

Premium foamboard

Our foamboard is available in any size up to A0. Our PVC foamboard is 5mm thick unless otherwise requested. 5mm is just that bit more premium feeling and can withstand a bit more wind, if you require 3mm thick for a sign stand, just let us know. We're able to print any colour on foamboard.

Acrylic

We also offer acrylic signage, with 3D lettering and stands. Colour choice is limited to acrylic colours.

Fabric

Choose from linen blend, satin, semi-sheer or velvet signage. Add eyelets or a loop at the top for hanging. Please allow 4 weeks for production of fabric signage.

Ribbon printing

Our beautiful fabric printer is able to print on ribbon for your place names, reserved seats, cocktail glasses and more.
